Dear Family and Friends,
I hope you are doing well. I am reaching out to you about the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra’s (EYSO) fundraising campaign called “NOTES 2020”. I’m really excited about this campaign, because it helps fund my participation in this group. Tuition costs cover only 1/3 of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs.
You can donate online at EYSO.org by credit card via my campaign page or mail a check to me directly. Once the NOTES campaign is completed you will receive a donation acknowledgement from EYSO for tax purposes. This campaign runs from now until April 5. Please consider donating to it and helping me continue doing what I love- playing violin with my EYSO family.
I love being a part of this orchestra. It has expanded my love of different kinds of music and has taught me so many new skills, such as working independently on improving my violin skills and working with others to make beautiful music with all of our different instruments. I’ve also made a lot of new friends and feel like I’m figuring out what I enjoy doing and where I belong. I plan to do this for years to come!
