Hi, I'm Kinsey, and I play the viola in the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra (EYSO). The EYSO is collecting donations as part of our fundraising campaign: NOTES. This campaign runs from January 26 to April 5. The purpose of the campaign is to help keep tuition affordable for EYSO members by encouraging families to collect donations from friends and family, so of course I thought of you!

This year, we are celebrating our 44th season with the theme MOVE!, with nearly 350 students from fourth grade through college. We perform three concerts each year, and each concert explores a different connection between music and movement. You can learn more about us at EYSO.org.

I love the EYSO because of the challenges it gives me. The pieces we play have new techniques that help me grow as a musician and new chances to learn something every week.
