Dear Friends and Family,

I have spent about one year now in EYSO, and I am loving my experience as I go. In EYSO we play the very best music that is fun, sounds amazing, and really pushes you to try your best.

Everything about this place is amazing. For example, the conductor is energetic, smart, and fun to be around. She is very talented at conducting and makes playing fun for me and the rest of the ensemble. She always spends every last minute making every second productive.

The difference between school orchestra and EYSO is that EYSO always pushes you to your max and separates you not by age, but ability. Not only does EYSO just push you but does many activities like camps, block parties, performances, and new things they do every year. The music is also more enticing and more challenging to play.

EYSO means so much to me; music is my life.

Right now in EYSO, we are doing a fundraiser to raise money. This helps keep the tuition affordable. EYSO’s tuition only covers 33% of the cost, While 66% of its budget is covered by donation. If you could donate money to this fundraiser, every little bit is amazing and super generous. Any checks or cash need to be sent to me, so I can put it down on my donation form. There is also an online donation page, but please be sure to my personal link. Please know that any donation is tax deductable. This campain runs until April 5.

EYSO is collecting donations as part of our annual fundraising event: the NOTES campaign. This campaign runs from January 26 to April 5. The purpose of the campaign is to help keep tuition affordable for EYSO members by encouraging EYSO families to collect donations from friends, family, co-workers, neighbors--and you! All contributions to the EYSO are tax deductible, as allowable by law.

This year, we are celebrating our 44th season with the theme MOVE! We have five orchestras, a brass choir, two percussion ensembles, and a chamber music program with nearly 350 students from fourth grade through college. We perform three concerts each year, and each concert explores a different connection between music and movement. You can learn more about us at EYSO.org.

Tuition covers only one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs.

Please consider donating to EYSO to help Prelude meet its goal. More importantly, it will help benefit everyone in EYSO.

Once the NOTES campaign is completed, you will receive a donation acknowledgement from EYSO for tax purposes. The campaign runs until April 5.
