I love music. A lot. Throughout the previous years, throughout the pandemic and being a teenager, being a lot busier and stressed, and dealing with complicated issues, I've dealt with many inconsistencies in my life. And temporary things and lots of changes. Except music. Music has never changed on me or left me. It's always there. I can't describe how much I love orchestra, classical music and violin. When it's the climax of a piece and the string players are playing with their whole bow and heart, when the wind players (woodwind & brass) are playing with their entire lungs and soul, when the percussionists are playing with all of their power possible, it's truly undefinable. It's beyond words. Even better? Is playing the pieces. I've gotten the oppurtunity to do that through EYSO, playing pieces that make me feel like that. I've gotten to go to incredible reherseals every Sunday, learning from Mr.Schwaegler, our conductor and learning to play with the other musicians. I've played in a quintet and made friends that way. I love music and I love the people who I get to do it with too. I know we would ALL appreciate it if you could support us to ensure that we can keep making those experiences possible.
