Dear family & friends, the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras has been a huge part of my life ever since my first audition back in 2011. Now, after three seasons as a student (five years in Nashville) and five seasons on staff, I have seen first-hand over and over again how the EYSO approach to music and teaching makes a difference in the lives of everyone involved in the organization. For me, that means the opportunity to continue growing as a person and a leader working behind the scenes to make the musical and pedagogical magic possible.
Most recently, I have been encouraged and inspired by my time as part of the strategic planning committee, meeting weekly with the six other members to define, shape, and plan for the future of the organization amid a transition in our executive leadership. I am confident that the best is yet to come for EYSO, and I humbly ask that you consider supporting the work that we do with a donation of any size. Thank you!
