Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras’ Philharmonia is collecting donations as part of our annual fundraising campaign: NOTES 2024. This campaign runs from January 21 to March 24. The mission of EYSO is to create a community of young musicians, enriching their lives and the lives of their families, schools, communities, and beyond, through the study and performance of excellent music.
This is my second year as a violinist in Philharmonia and EYSO. EYSO is such an amazing experience, and it has helped me become a better musician while also being very fun. I love the music we get to play and seeing it come together over the rehearsals, and performing it at concerts while I work on my ensemble skills, learn about music, and countless other things that EYSO has helped me learn.
