Samantha Botello's Fundraiser
Donate to NOTES 2023!
Help Prelude reach their goal by making a donation! By supporting the NOTES campaign, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Hi My name is Samantha Botello. This is my first year playing the violin with Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras (EYSO). EYSO's Prelude is collecting donations as part of our annual fundraising campaign: NOTES. This campaign runs from January 22nd to March 26th with the goal to raise $54,500 to help keep EYSO tuition affordable for the nearly 400 students in the five orchestras, percussion ensembles, Brass Choir, and Flute Choir.
Would you, or someone you know, be willing to donate to EYSO?
For 47 seasons, EYSO has given young musicians the opportunity to let their skills flourish as they connect with other musicians and study/perform excellent music from all over the world. By supporting the NOTES campaign, you are impacting the lives of so many, including myself! This is my fifth year playing the violin. I started learning in the fifth grade after seeing my soon-to-be orchestra teacher perform in a showcase for my school. After trying it out I quickly realized that music was what I wanted to do in my life. Music became a way for me to escape and express myself and EYSO helps me continue to get better at doing what I love with so many who inspire me.
Tuition covers only about one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs. Donations of any size can make a real impact!
In addition to offsetting the cost of tuition, the generosity of people like you also helps to:
- Provide a more diverse repertoire of music.
- Support weekly conductors and guest coaches who are leaders in the field of music education.
- Allows EYSO to have a broader reach by offering innovative community programs and initiatives.
Thank you so much for supporting the students of EYSO and the power of music education!
