Dear Donor,
My name is Ezra, and I have been playing the violin for 10 years. I have always wanted to get better at playing in an ensemble with other people. The Elgin Youth Symphony will help me achieve that goal. Although this is my first year in EYSO, I know that it was a great decision.
This year is EYSO’s 47th season of serving nearly 400 students from 4th grade through college via five levels of orchestra, percussion ensembles, Brass Choir, and Flute Choir. Our mission is to create a community of young musicians, enriching their lives and the lives of their families, schools, communities, and beyond.
Every year we have a fundraiser called the NOTES campaign to raise money for what we all love to do and that is playing music. With this year’s goal of $54,500, we ask that you donate what you can to support us in our mission and to better the experience of future members.
