This is my second year as a cello player in EYSO’s Prelude level orchestra and I hope to participate every year that I can until I’m too old.
This is EYSO’s 47th season which is almost as old as my mom and dad. But they’re too old to go now, they just get to drive me every Sunday so I can spend hours doing what I love in room filled with people who all love music. It’s a safe and happy place for me.
I have two autism super-powers: math and music. And I love that there is a place for me to go and be with welcoming people and friends who also love music. Nobody makes fun of people there-we all work together and make beautiful music. And amazing memories!
Tuition only covers only one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO so this fundraising campaign is really important to me and to every kid who attends. Without it lots of kids wouldn't be able to go. We all try to help each other succeed and share with one another (stands, rosin, rock stops - whatever anyone needs) but we need donations to help too!
I really can’t imagine my life without it and I hope more and more kids get the chance to participate! Will you please consider helping? Thank you!
