The EYSO is collecting donations as part of our annual fundraising campaign: NOTES. This campaign runs from January 23 to March 27.
The purpose of the campaign is to help keep tuition affordable for EYSO members by encouraging EYSO families to collect donations from friends, family, co-workers, neighbors--and you! All contributions to the EYSO are tax deductible, as allowable by law.

This year, we are celebrating our 46th season with the theme FLIPPED! We have five orchestras, a brass choir, two percussion ensembles, a flute choir and a chamber music program with nearly 300 students from fourth grade through college. The mission of EYSO is to create a community of young musicians, enriching their lives and the lives of their families, schools, communities, and beyond, through the study and performance of excellent music. A note (haha) from Katie: EYSO is a fantastic program that I have been involved with for 2 years now. I'm involved in many things at my school, including band and choir, but the orchestra is probably my favorite. Everything offers unique and special opportunities, but EYSO is special; the approach to education, the passion of those involved make it a wonderful community and an incredibly fulfilling place to make music. Last year I got jaw surgery and it ate into my time at EYSO. I couldn't play my instrument for about two months and the administration, as well as my conductor, helped me brainstorm solutions to keep me involved. It was an incredibly difficult time for me and EYSO continued to provide opportunities that other programs weren't able to offer me. After the pandemic we have all gone through and the separation I felt after my surgery, EYSO stayed the one place I knew I could still go to in person. It made me so grateful to have a constant throughout all of the chaos. Knowing how much EYSO does for their students and how accessible they make their program truly inspires me and I hope it does the same for you. If you have the means to donate or even a moment to check out one of our concerts, I (and many others) would greatly appreciate it.

Tuition covers only one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs.
In addition to offsetting the cost of tuition, the generosity of people like you also helps to:
- Provide a more diverse repertoire of music.
- Purchase necessary resources including sheet music and instruments.
- Allows EYSO to have a broader reach by offering innovative community programs.

Once the NOTES campaign is completed, you will receive a donation acknowledgement from EYSO for tax purpose. The campaign concludes on Sunday, March 27.
