Hi, I’m Angie Jacobo and I’m writing this to talk about why you should donate money towards Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra’s NOTES fundraiser. This is my first year as a clarinetist in EYSO’s Philharmonia Orchestra, and it is always the highlight of my week. We play beautiful classical music that challenges me and grows me as a musician. On top of that, I play with really talented musicians that inspire me. My goal is to raise at least $175 by the end of March. By donating, you fund for things like music materials instrument rentals (and as a clarinetist with 1 b-flat, it is VERY NECESSARY!!), and more. Donations aside, my priority is to spread awareness of this awesome program, so even if you don’t donate, my task is fulfilled.
