This year, the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra is celebrating our 45th season with the theme Myths & Legends. All together we are five orchestras, a brass choir, three percussion ensembles, and a chamber music program with nearly 300 students from fourth grade through college. You can learn more about us at EYSO.org.
Our EYSO Percussion Family is a tight-knit group comprised of students from the Sinfonia, Philharmonia, and Youth Symphony Orchestras. We perform regularly throughout the year, and enjoy sharing exciting and contemporary repertoire with our audience.
Tuition covers only one-third of the total cost of participation in EYSO, so each season we fundraise paper money "notes" to support the notes we play and the great music we love to share with our community.
