$1,000 towards $1,500

Dear Friends and family,

As you may already know, I play the violin, and I am a proud musician in the EYSO (Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra). I have now been playing for five years, and I deeply enjoy it. I plan to move up to the next level of the EYSO next year, to Symphonia. 2020 has been a really rough year for us all. Covid-19 came, and made businesses close, family members pass away, and tore us apart from our friends and distant family. Fortunately, the EYSO has taken proper precautions to let us keep playing in the orchestra as a united, in person group, so we at the EYSO can keep playing the instruments we love.

Some of you might know that the EYSO notes fundraiser is going on right now. It would be appreciated if you could donate to the EYSO this year. EYSO is collecting donations as part of our annual fundraising event: the NOTES campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to help keep tuition affordable for EYSO members. Tuition covers only one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs. All contributions to the EYSO are tax-deductible, as allowable by law. Once the NOTES campaign is completed, you will receive a donation acknowledgment from EYSO for tax purposes. The campaign runs until March 28.

It is okay if you and your family can only donate a small amount. Every dollar matters to keep the EYSO together and to keep us at EYSO playing in person.

I hope you consider donating.

Sincerely,

Luca Edsall

P.S. The EYSO upcoming concerts are on March 14th and May 10th 2:00 pm. I am currently in the Prelude Orchestra. Click here for a live stream of the concert https://www.eyso.org/concert. It would mean a lot to me if you would watch. Hope you enjoy!
