Dear Relative,

Hi again! Thank you for contributing to the Elgin Youth Symphony NOTES campaign last year. I really appreciate your support for something that means a lot to me. We are now starting NOTES 2021 and I’m hoping you’ll consider making another donation. This year the campaign runs until March 28th. We are celebrating our 45th season with the theme Myths & Legends! We have five orchestras, a brass choir, two percussion ensembles, and a chamber music program with nearly 300 students from fourth grade through college. We perform three concerts each year, and each concert explores a different connection between music and movement. You can learn more about us at EYSO.org.

I like being part of EYSO because I am interested in playing in the orchestra since I play the cello. You get to play the music with your friends and spend time rehearsing until the concert comes! We were still able to attend rehearsals even during the Covid-19, we are still able to attend rehearsals safely by extra precaution the organization took. I also felt very thankful because there are other students that didn’t have the opportunity.

Tuition covers only one-third of the total cost of each member’s participation in EYSO. Our NOTES campaign helps keep tuition reasonable and offsets program costs. Please consider donating to EYSO to help us meet our goal. More importantly, it will help benefit everyone in EYSO. You can donate online by credit card via my campaign page or mail a check to me directly. Once the NOTES campaign is completed, you will receive a donation acknowledgment from EYSO for tax purposes.
